The Monroe Township Thunderwolves U-13 boys soccer team, currently ranked 12th in the State of New Jersey by Got Soccer, won the Upper Township Endless Summer Soccer Tournament U-13/U-14 Division this weekend, going 4-0. The Thunderwolves opened up with a 3-1 victory over Vineland Red Vortex, as Cullen Davis, Alex Rossi and Bobby Andrews scored for the T-Wolves. They followed up that win with a 5-1 victory over Upper Township Green Vortex, as Alex Rossi netted two goals, and Cullen Davis, Bobby Andrews and Matt Fahey also scored. On Sunday, keeper Hunter Wroniuk posted two shut outs, as the Thunderwolves beat the Atlantic United Assassins and the Franklin Tp. Bandits each by a 1-0 score. Jordan Fontelera scored on a header in the first game, and Will Shaffer netted the lone goal in the second. Coach Steve Bombaro’s squad next plays in the East Brunswick Labor Day tournament.
