ELIGIBILITY:
 All MTYS Players and former players who will graduate from Williamstown High School in the Spring of 2012 and who will attend college in the Fall of 2012 are eligible. The scholarship winner(s) must stay in school for the full academic year or they will forfeit their right to the scholarship.
 
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
 Scholarship(s) will be awarded based on applicant’s citizenship, school and outside activities, including volunteer and community services as well as MTYS participation. Applicants will not be judged solely upon soccer ability/achievements. MTYS wishes to identify and reward high school senior soccer players who are also outstanding citizens. 
 
APPLICATION:
 Candidates fill out the MTYS Scholarship Application and submit it no later than May 18th. Winner(s) will be announced by June 18, 2012. 
 
SCHOLARSHIP:
 The number of scholarships given out each year will be at the discretion of the MTYS Board of Directors based upon the quantity and quality of the applications and the financial constraints of MTYS. At least one scholarship will be awarded annually. 
 
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT:
 The amount determined by the MTYS Board of Directors is $1,500 per scholarship.
